Backend Developer/Tech Lead(Java)

Responsibility

· Participate in project planning, resources management, risk assessment, requirement analysis, testing and lifecycle management

· Responsible to control the implementation progress and establish the follow-up improvement scheme

· Lead mainland team members on communication with stakeholders, work quality and efficiency

· Work closely with different IT teams to ensure computer systems are running smoothly and to fix problems

· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute system project plan

· Collect and analyze requirements from business units

· Conduct System Integration Test, User Acceptance Test and provide the necessary documentation

· Provide training and guidance to junior team members

Requirements

· University degree holder or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines

· At least 10 years of relevant working experience in computer field, preferably in Finance industry

· Experience in programming languages, system development, project management, business analysis and/or vendor management

· Solid experience in managing Software Development Lifecycle on mobile app and web application platforms

· Experience in managing offshore development team in mainland and occasionally visit to China is required

· Strong business requirement analysis, test planning and documentation skills are required

· Solid experience in Java programming and familiar with frameworks and tools such as Tomcat, Spring, Hibernate, JPA, etc. is a must

· Experience in Oracle Database, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes and API development is an advantage

· Experience in cloud computing on Aliyun is a plus

· Knowledge in InfoSec, Linux, microservices architecture, Big Data technology and CI/CD pipeline is a plus

· Proficient in both written & spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
