Equity Finance Developer - .NET

We are looking for a passionate developer who would thrive in a fast paced, collaborative and global agile team. The candidate will be responsible for design and development of new functionality to assist the global Equity Finance desks with the management and optimization of securities short-lending as well as inventory management

Responsibilities & Duties
• Partner closely with fellow technologists, Equity Finance team and Execution Services to further enhance our inventory offering to Portfolio Managers across various teams.
• Build real-time inventory and SBL systems in a fast-paced environment
• Developing new features with high quality and enhancing functionality on a mission critical platform
• Design or upgrade existing software to ensure product performance and quality expectations are met
• Understand the business requirements and constraints in various developed and emerging markets
• Stay current on state-of-the-art technologies and tools including technical libraries, computing environments and academic research
• Help in any data analysis / troubleshooting (L3) in case of issues with our critical trading infrastructure.

Preferred Technical Skills
• Strong .NET knowledge
• Working experience with financial order/execution data, positions data, SBL data
• High focus on testability of program (TDD/XP based development preferred)
• Good DevOps understanding to drive some of testing automation
• Experience with AI tools usage for higher developer productivity a plus

Preferred Experience
• 5+ years of development experience in SBL and D1 systems
• Good understanding of Asia equities markets i.e. auctions, microstructure, regulatory constraints
• Experience with inventory optimization in developing markets in Asia (non-give up) highly desirable
• Good team player. Detail oriented, demonstrates thoroughness and strong ownership of work.
• Excellent written & oral communication skills
• Quick thinker & problem solver, able to think on their feet and make informed decisions.
• Knowledge of Kdb+/Q is a big plus.
• Any front-end development experience e.g .Angular, Ember is a plus.
• Experience with any cloud platform and containerization tools is a plus.
