Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud)

Job Description

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud).

Responsibilities
• Plan, design and develop private cloud infrastructure and platform services
• Manage the private cloud platform in accordance with the company’s cloud strategy, policies, best practices and capabilities
• Work with cross functional teams across the IT division to enable cloud native application development and deployment automation
• Support cloud infrastructure capacity and budget forecast
• Monitor the established SLAs with technology partners and vendors
• Make recommendations related to the use and security of cloud services and technologies

Job Requirements
• Degree graduated in IT or equivalent
• Certification in VMware Certified Profession (VCP) or higher (VCAP, VCDX) is preferred
• Certifications in VMWare vCloud Foundation, Certifications in Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2), and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) a plus
• 3+ years of experience in managing a large environment of private or public cloud infrastructure and platform services supporting mission critical applications
• 5+ years of practical experience with VMWare technology, including vSphere 6.7 or above
• 5+ years of experience with Linux / Windows operating systems
• Experience in high availability network and performance monitoring platform
• Solid understanding of cloud native application, micro-services, containers, Kubernetes and related cloud infrastructure and architecture
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Good project management skills
