Project Manager (SAP)
Our client is a multinational sourcing company with a strong global presence. They are currently seeking a hands-on project manager to lead the implementation of their SAP system in Hong Kong.
• Drive the SAP system implementation project
• Strong experience in project management
• Knowledge of accounting and finance is preferred
Responsibilities:
• Oversee project planning, execution, and monitoring for SAP accounting system implementations and enhancements.
• Facilitate data mapping, integration, and reconciliation processes between the SAP system and other financial systems.
• Provide technical guidance and support to users on SAP accounting functionalities and best practices.
• Collaborate with external vendors for system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across departments for system administration tasks, including managing user access rights and maintaining system security protocols.
• Monitor project status, develop rollout plans, and deliver regular progress updates to stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, process flow diagrams, and user manuals.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts and provide training and support to end-users for successful adoption.
• Assist in planning and coordinating ad hoc projects and requests related to SAP accounting and financial processes.
Core Expectations:
• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant finance and project experience in multinational corporations.
• Experience and knowledge of SAP HANA is a strong advantage
• Proven track record of managing similar projects, e.g., system implementation, upgrade, and enhancement
• Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills
• A proactive problem solver who consistently seeks to improve processes and productivity.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and skilled in data analysis tools
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Willingness to participate in regular night calls with headquarters
