Together, We Make Travel Better!
What you’ll be doing:
As a Business Analyst with product management experience, you will own end-to-end
requirements management for the Smart Traveller APP and the global airport lounge loyalty
membership program. You will translate business objectives and customer insights into clear
product requirements and user stories, drive alignment across stakeholders (operations,
lounge teams, customer service, engineering, data, and partners), and ensure high-quality
delivery through UAT, release readiness, and continuous improvement.
• Requirement Discovery & Analysis: Elicit and clarify requirements through workshops/interviews; map customer journeys for lounge access, membership tiers, points/benefits, and redemption across online/offline touchpoints.
• Documentation & Backlog Management: Produce BRD/PRD, functional specs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows; maintain and prioritise the product backlog with the Product Manager.
• Loyalty Program & Rules Configuration: Define and validate tier rules, earn/burn logic, promotions, partner benefits, and operational constraints; ensure consistency across app, web, POS/CRM and lounge systems.
• Stakeholder & Cross-functional Collaboration: Align with global lounge operations, commercial/partnership teams, customer experience, engineering, QA, data, and vendors; manage dependencies and communicate trade-offs.
• Delivery, UAT & Release Readiness: Plan and execute UAT with business users; validate APIs and integrations (e.g., membership, payment, access control); triage defects and support go-live.
• Data & Performance: Define success metrics and tracking plan (events, funnels, cohorts); analyse product performance and customer feedback; propose enhancements using evidence-based prioritisation.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure requirements meet security and privacy expectations (e.g., PDPO/GDPR where applicable), accessibility and usability standards; support audit-ready documentation.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to Agile ceremonies, improve BA/QA processes, and bring best practices on product discovery, experimentation and documentation.
About you:
• Experience: 3–5 years in Business Analysis / Digital Product / Product Operations, with demonstrable experience working on mobile apps and/or customer-facing digital products; exposure to loyalty, travel, aviation, hospitality or membership programs is a strong advantage.
• Product Mindset: Prior experience supporting a Product Manager or acting as a product owner for a squad; able to balance user needs, business outcomes and technical constraints.
• Agile Delivery: Familiar with Agile/Scrum; comfortable with sprint planning, refinement, story writing and release coordination.
• Tools & Technical Literacy: Proficient with Jira/Confluence (or similar). Able to read API specs (Swagger/Postman), create basic SQL queries for validation/analysis, and work with analytics tools (GA/Firebase/Amplitude/Looker/Tableau is a plus).
• Documentation & Communication: Strong writing skills for clear requirements and testable acceptance criteria; excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Language: Fluent in English; Cantonese required; Mandarin is an advantage for regional collaboration.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related disciplines.
• Work Arrangement/Travel: Based in Hong Kong; occasional travel may be required for lounge/site visits and partner alignment.
