• Lead the global content marketing strategy for Smart Traveller, ensuring alignment with business objectives around member acquisition, activation, engagement, retention and revenue from marketplace and partners.
• Develop and manage a strategic editorial calendar covering key journeys (pre-trip, in-airport, post-trip), campaigns, product launches, partnerships and lifecycle communications.
Content Creation & Localisation
• Plan, write and edit high-quality English content, including blogs, long-form articles, landing pages, email marketing, in-app content, push notifications, social captions and scripts, ensuring consistency with Smart Traveller's sophisticated travel-lifestyle tone of voice.
• Localise or adapt content for priority markets in collaboration with regional teams and translators, maintaining brand and message consistency while reflecting local needs and cultural nuances.
Optimisation & Distribution
• Optimise content for SEO and app store/search discoverability (keyword research, on-page optimisation, metadata) to drive organic traffic and member growth.
• Work closely with CRM to design and deliver always-on and campaign-based email and marketing automation journeys that nurture prospects and members through the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with social media, digital marketing and performance teams to ensure content supports paid and organic campaigns across channels, with clear CTAs and tracking.

Operations & Stakeholder Management
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (product, partnerships, operations, lounge/airport teams) to source stories, benefits and insights that can be turned into compelling content.
• Manage external writers, translators, agencies or freelancers when needed, including briefing, quality control and deadlines.
Performance & Compliance
• Use analytics tools to track content performance (traffic, engagement, conversions, revenue contribution), generate regular reports and turn insights into actionable optimisation plans.
• Ensure all content adheres to brand, legal and compliance requirements, including correct representation of partner offers, terms and membership conditions.
• Continuously scan competitor and industry content, travel trends and member feedback to identify content gaps, new concepts and innovative formats.
About you:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business or a related field.
• Typically 3–5 years' experience in content marketing, editorial, digital marketing or loyalty/CRM roles, preferably within travel, hospitality, aviation, lifestyle or e-commerce.

• Proficiency with content management systems (e.g. WordPress or similar), basic HTML formatting and publishing workflows.
• Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g. Ahrefs, SEMrush) and web/app analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, GA4, HubSpot or similar) to analyse performance and optimise content.
• Experience with CRM and email marketing tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho or equivalent) and basic marketing automation concepts.
• Experience collaborating with or managing social, influencer, creator and/or affiliate marketing initiatives is an advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of additional languages (e.g. Mandarin, Portuguese, French) is a plus.
• Passion for travel and lifestyle, with curiosity about different cultures and airport experiences.
• Detail-oriented, organised and proactive, able to manage multiple tasks and timelines under guidance.
• Agile, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up-style environment within a global organisation; willing to travel occasionally if required
