AI Engineer

We are looking for someone to join our company and push the frontiers of enterprise AI further.

This is not going to be just another software engineering job. We will need you to be flexible with your job scope, which includes nurturing younger software developers, strategising together with the management on the product and go-to-market, maintaining the coding standards, and then some.

As we are pushing the frontiers, the direction and execution clarity are often vague, iterative, and less structured. If you thrive in a place where autonomy given is high, and are able to translate broad visions to concrete steps, this is for you.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
Skills & Traits We’re Looking For - Must Have
• Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
• Solid TypeScript/JS and Python experience
• React, Node/Express, REST APIs
• Git, Docker, Linux familiarity
• Understanding of embeddings, vector stores, LangChain/LlamaIndex
• Self-starter mindset - comfortable moving in ambiguity
• Worked on RAG or LLM-driven tools

What You’ll Do

1. Prototype Real-World AI Use Cases
• Apply Autothought to solve problems in claims, compliance, risk, onboarding, and more
• Deploy domain-tuned RAG, fine-tuned models, and secure NLP pipelines

2. Full-Stack Software Engineering
• Own the development of AI-powered internal tools (React + Express)
• Ship fast in feedback loops while balancing reliability and privacy
• Work within a secure, tightly monitored infrastructure

3. Client Collaboration + BFSI Exposure
• Sit alongside business, compliance, and tech teams inside the client
• Shape requirements, validate assumptions, and ship iteratively
• Learn the operating realities of one of India’s top BFSI brands

4. Cross-Pollinate with Pints AI’s R&D
• Stay plugged into our research team’s work on LLM orchestration, embeddings, and compression
• Contribute to internal tools and open-source libraries when off client delivery cycles
• Level up fast through mentorship, feedback, and hands-on deployments
