SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (TIER 2) - WINDOWS/VMWARE INFRASTRUCTURE, FSI
Our client is a well-known IT service provider in Hong Kong, currently serving a leading financial institution. This is an on-site position.
Responsibilities:
Maintain 1,000+ VM farm (vSphere/vCenter, VDI Horizon) + multi-brand servers (Dell/HP/H3C/NetApp)
Tier 2 support: Daily monitoring, health checks, production issue resolution for Tier 1
Exchange Online + Cisco IronPort maintenance, DHCP/DNS with Network Team
Lead infra projects: VM upgrades, O365 migrations, VDI refresh, HA/DR testing (Veeam)
Security patching deployment + OS EOL upgrades across production environment
Requirements:
3+ years hands‑on System Engineering (Tier 2 server admin level)
Expert in: vCenter, WSUS, AD/GPO, M365/Entra/Intune, VMware VDI, Veeam
PowerShell scripting for automation + project execution experience
FSI/finance background preferred (compliance/HA standards)
Fluent Cantonese, with MCSE/VCP/Azure certs is a okus
Proactive mindset, 7x24 on‑call capable
Salary:
HKD 25K - 35K x 12 + Bonus (Yearly Renewable Contract)
