Senior Developer (Go / Ruby on Rails) HK / SG / China / Taiwan

We are working with one of our well-established clients who are expanding their tech team in Hong Kong. They are a team that designs, builds, and improves software for projects to support their main business. For this role, you'll help create applications that can grow, working on everything from user interfaces to backend systems.

MUST haves:
• At least 3+ years experience in Golang OR Ruby on Rails (hands on)
• User Onboarding experience and KYC
• Applicants must be coming from Financial services / Payment Services
• Currently based in Hong Kong / China / Taiwan.
• If you are based in Singapore and keen to apply (you must have both work experience in Golang and Ruby on Rails)
• Excellent comms in English

Responsibilities
• Develop backend services and help make design choices.
• Expand our products to new areas, focusing on user sign-up, KYC, and EDD.
• Find and solve complex problems in large backend systems.
• Provide reliable trading information to customers.

Requirements
• Hands on experience in Golang and Ruby on Rails; other programming languages is a plus.
• Experience with user sign-up, KYC, EDD, and similar services.
• Understanding of finance or blockchain is helpful.
• Familiarity with Postgres, Redis, and Kafka is preferred.
• Experience in making systems scalable, secure, and efficient.
