Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our IT department in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will serve as a key contact point for IT projects, oversee team management, and ensure the efficient day-to-day operations while handling administrative tasks. The IT Manager will play a crucial role in solution delivery management, people management, project management, and should ideally possess architectural expertise. Fluent communication in Cantonese and English is essential, along with a stable and mature demeanor. The candidate should have a strong focus on project experience in mobile applications, CRM, and fintech. This role will involve overseeing a team of professionals, including mobile developers, backend Java developers, testers, and UI/UX designers.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
Act as the primary point of contact for IT projects, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and timelines.
Team Management:
Recruit, develop, and lead a diverse team of IT professionals.
Provide coaching and mentorship to team members to foster growth and skill development.
Solution Delivery Management:
Oversee the end-to-end solution delivery process, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Drive innovative solutions and best practices to meet project objectives.
Project Management:
Develop and manage project plans, including resource allocation and risk assessment.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet project goals.
Architecture (Preferred):
Utilize architectural expertise to guide technology decisions and infrastructure design.
Ensure system scalability, security, and sustainability.
Language Skills:
Fluent in Cantonese and English to facilitate effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
Project Focus:
Lead and support projects in mobile applications, CRM systems, fintech solutions, and related areas.
Administrative Duties:
Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring smooth office operations.
Handle budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Proven experience in solution delivery management, people management, and project management.
Preferred background in IT architecture.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Project experience in mobile applications, CRM, or fintech solutions.
Ability to communicate fluently in Cantonese and English.
