Investor Relations / Fund Sales Associate
The Role:
We are seeking an Investor Relations / Fund Sales professional with around 3 years of experience. This role is ideal for someone with a strong sales mindset who is eager to learn and grow within a collaborative environment. You will work closely with senior partners, who bring extensive resources and networks, and you will have the opportunity to support and learn from an established team.
Key Responsibilities
• Capital Raising: Assist in the capital-raising process for the firm's FOF and Credit strategies.
• Investor Targeting: Help identify and map potential investors within the partners' sphere, including Family Offices, Private Banks, and Fund of Funds.
• Marketing Materials: Assist in the preparation of pitch books, investment memoranda, Quarterly Reports, and other marketing collateral.
• Deal Flow & IPOs: Support the team in marketing flexible mandates, including participation in HK IPO investments, to suitable investors.
• CRM Management: Maintain and update the investor database and track all investor interactions and commitments.
The Ideal Candidate
• Experience: Approximately 3 years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry in Hong Kong.
• Industry Background: Candidates from the following backgrounds are highly preferred:
• Funds: Sales or Investor Relations roles at multi-asset, credit, or fund of hedge funds.
• Multi-Family Offices: Investment or client-advisory roles.
• Private Banks / PB: Relationship Manager or Investment Counselor roles.
• Chinese Banks/Securities: Sales or Institutional client coverage.
• Investment Banking: Coverage or capital introduction roles (with a strong desire to move to the buy-side).
• Sales Acumen: Must have a natural "sense" for sales—being personable, articulate, and comfortable in client-facing situations.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) to effectively communicate with the firm's target investor base.
• Technical Skills: Solid proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with fund performance metrics is a plus.
• Attitude: A humble yet ambitious team player who is eager to learn from senior partners and grow with the firm.
