Senior QA engineer - Automation

Our client is an innovative tech start-up that helps businesses address key ESG and sustainability reporting challenges by combining advanced technology with expert advisory services. They support companies in over 40 countries across various industries in developing and enhancing their ESG strategies through technology.

They are seeking a Senior QA Engineer who is experienced in automated testing for large-scale applications. Your work will have a direct impact on daily operations and the lives of consumers in the Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) sector.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in best practices and automation techniques.
• Continuously improve test processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure testability and quality.

Key Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI is a plus.
