Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the entire payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments.
Handle complex accounting tasks and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and records.
Conduct audits and provide recommendations for improvements.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and enhance overall efficiency.
Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, etc.) is highly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and payroll, with a significant portion of this experience gained at a Big 4 accounting firm.
Proficiency in English and Cantonese or Mandarin is essential.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and payroll best practices.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
