Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Our client is an authorized insurer to facilitate retirement financial planning through provision of annuity products in Hong Kong, they launch a project to revamp the core Administration System of which " Digital Enrichment" is considered a a crucial element to their company. Yo will be working with experts from different areas in a dynamic environment. They are currently seeking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the infrastructure projects;
• Taking the lead for cloud infrastructure design;
• Make recommendation in connecting the cloud infrastructure to the Company owned data center;
• Ensure all systems are operating in a stable and effective environment;
• Study and provide recommendations from the operational and security perspective;
• Assist configuration change with vendors;
• Perform regular administrative tasks including upgrades and update of all software;
• Perform system monitoring and reporting; and
• Working closely with Group infrastructure team to manage the interconnection of cloud and on-premises data center.

Requirements:
• Degree holder in IT or related disciplines;
• 10 years relevant experiences. Commencing position will be commensurate with qualifications;
• Experience in AWS, Alibaba, Tencent cloud, Linux, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes are an advantage;
• Solid experience in network administration with strong knowledge in LAN/WAN/cloud network architecture, micro-segmentation firewall, router/switch, wireless LAN, VPN, IPS, WAF, CLB, network management, performance monitoring and automation tools;
• Good planning, organizing, communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work under pressure;
• Knowledge of ITIL and DevOps is an advantage;
• Possessing relevant certificates is an advantage;
• Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese;
• Strong leadership and capabilities to lead a small team; and
• Strong stakeholder’s management.
