Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and technically competent Technical Sales Officer to actively drive sales of our EV charging infrastructure and carpark system solutions. Reporting to the Technical Sales Manager, you will focus on prospecting, conducting technical consultations, presenting tailored solutions, preparing proposals, and closing deals with B2B clients. This is a hands-on sales role that requires strong technical knowledge to effectively consult with clients and support the full sales cycle in the fast-growing EV and smart parking markets.

Key Responsibilities
Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and targeted outreach to property developers, commercial real estate owners, hotels, malls, corporate fleets, public carpark operators, and relevant government/infrastructure projects.
Qualify opportunities by understanding client needs in EV charging requirements, parking operations, energy management, and system integration.
Conduct technical site visits, needs assessments, and product demonstrations to showcase our EV chargers, smart charging software, and integrated carpark solutions (e.g., parking guidance, dynamic pricing, access control).
Prepare and present customized technical proposals, including system layouts, load calculations, compliance details (e.g., local electrical codes, OCPP standards), ROI estimates, and pricing.
Collaborate with internal technical/engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, optimized, and meet client specifications.
Negotiate terms, handle objections, and close sales deals to meet or exceed personal targets.
Manage assigned accounts and pipeline in CRM, providing accurate forecasting and regular sales activity reporting.
Build and maintain relationships with clients and partners to generate repeat business and referrals.
Stay informed on industry trends, EV incentives, regulations in Hong Kong, competitor products, and advancements in charging/parking technologies.
Support marketing efforts by attending trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote the company and generate leads.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.
At least 1-3 years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or solutions sales, preferably in EV charging, renewable energy, electrical equipment, smart building/parking systems, or similar B2B technical products. Fresh graduated candidates are also welcomed.
Solid technical understanding of EV charging technologies (AC/DC chargers, OCPP protocols, load balancing) and/or carpark management systems (sensors, guidance, payment integration, IoT).
Proven ability to meet sales targets in a consultative selling environment.
Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Cantonese (Mandarin is advantageous); ability to explain technical details clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
Proactive, self-driven, with excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
Willing to travel within Hong Kong (and occasionally regionally) for client meetings and site assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience dealing with property developers, facility managers, or public-sector clients in Hong Kong/Asia.
Knowledge of Hong Kong building codes, EV subsidies/incentives, and smart city initiatives.
Familiarity with integrated EV + parking solutions (e.g., energy optimization, solar integration).
Existing contacts in real estate, automotive, or energy sectors.
