Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and target-driven Business Development Officer to support our growth by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing new business opportunities in the EV charging and smart carpark sectors. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will focus on lead generation, building relationships with potential clients and partners, conducting initial consultations, and contributing to the early stages of the sales pipeline. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys outreach, networking, and laying the groundwork for high-value deals in a fast-evolving sustainable infrastructure market.

Key Responsibilities
Actively prospect and generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, referrals, industry databases, and targeted research on potential clients (e.g., property developers, real estate managers, fleet operators, hotels, malls, public carpark operators, and government-related projects).
Qualify leads by assessing fit, understanding client needs in EV charging infrastructure, smart parking operations, energy management, and system integration.
Conduct initial meetings, site visits, and needs discussions to present company value propositions and explore pilot/project opportunities.
Build and maintain a strong network of contacts with key stakeholders in real estate, automotive, utilities, and smart city sectors.
Prepare basic proposals, pitch decks, and supporting materials (e.g., ROI overviews, compliance notes on Hong Kong EV incentives and standards) for hand-over to sales/technical teams.
Track and manage opportunities in CRM, ensuring accurate reporting on pipeline status, activities, and forecasting inputs.
Support partnership development by identifying potential collaborators (e.g., system integrators, EV OEMs, utilities) and assisting in early discussions or MOUs.
Stay updated on market trends, Hong Kong EV policies/subsidies, building regulations, competitor activities, and advancements in charging/parking technologies.
Participate in trade shows, seminars, networking events, and industry meetups to promote the company and capture leads.
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and technical teams to align on campaigns, content, and opportunity progression.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred), Marketing, or a related field.
At least 1-3 years of experience in business development, lead generation, sales support, or related roles—ideally in EV charging, renewable energy, smart infrastructure, parking systems, IoT/smart city solutions, or B2B/B2C technical sectors. **Fresh graduated candidates are also welcomed.
Basic understanding of EV charging technologies (e.g., AC/DC, OCPP) and/or carpark management systems (e.g., guidance, access control, IoT).
Proven ability to generate and qualify leads in a target-driven environment.
Strong communication, networking, and interpersonal skills in English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a plus); comfortable presenting to clients.
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office/Google Workspace.
Energetic, self-motivated, and organized with a hunter mindset for opportunity creation.
Willing to travel within Hong Kong (and occasionally regionally) for meetings, events, and site visits.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience engaging with property developers, facility managers, or public-sector entities in Hong Kong/Asia.
Familiarity with Hong Kong EV incentives, smart city initiatives, and relevant regulations.
Existing contacts in real estate, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
Exposure to integrated EV + parking/energy solutions.
