Payment Services Manager - Banking

Our client is seeking a dedicated Payment Services Manager to lead their payment operations team. The ideal candidate is expected to possess relevant experience in banking payment processes and a strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with innovative technology and enhance payment services.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of payment processing, including remittances and local and global transactions
• Analyze and streamline payment workflows to enhance efficiency
• Supervise payment screening and reconciliation
• Develop and implement operational guidelines, and monitor daily activities to ensure regulatory compliance
• Collaborate on projects to improve payment processes and customer experience
• Identify and implement system improvements and process enhancements
• Monitor for incidents or anomalies, report findings, and assist in implementing remediation actions
• Ensure effective controls are established and maintained to minimize operational risks

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience in banking payment operations
• Strong knowledge of payment systems such as RTGS, SWIFT, FPS, and eDDA is a plus
• Experience in compliance checking for payment transactions related to AML and anti-terrorism
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
