AGM/DGM - Leasing (Developer, Retail portfolio)

About The Client

A leading Hong Kong property group is seeking a seasoned leasing professional to oversee and drive the performance of its retail portfolio. The DGM/AGM - Leasing will play a key leadership role in strategy development, tenant mix planning, lease negotiation, and portfolio enhancement across multiple retail assets.

About the Role
• Leasing Strategy & Portfolio Management
• Develop and execute leasing strategies to maximize rental yield and occupancy levels.
• Oversee tenant mix planning to enhance asset positioning and drive footfall.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to inform leasing direction.
• Business Development & Tenant Relations
• Lead negotiations with key tenants, anchor brands, and strategic partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, F&B groups, and agencies.
• Identify and secure new tenants that elevate the property's retail offerings.
• Leadership & Team Management
• Manage and mentor the leasing team to ensure performance excellence.
• Provide guidance on deal structuring, pipeline management, and leasing documentation.
• Foster a collaborative culture focused on results, innovation, and professionalism.
• Financial & Operational Oversight
• Develop annual leasing budgets and ensure revenue targets are achieved.
• Review and approve leasing proposals, tenancy agreements, and related documents.
• Work closely with legal, property management, finance, and marketing teams to support operations and retail activation initiatives.
• Asset Enhancement & Project Involvement
• Collaborate with asset management teams on redevelopment, renovation, and repositioning projects.
• Provide input on layout planning, zoning, and mall circulation to optimize leasing potential.
• Partner with marketing teams to support promotional activities that enhance tenant performance.

The successful applicants
• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Surveying, Marketing, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in retail leasing, with at least 10 years in a senior managerial role.
• Strong network across retail brands, F&B groups, and industry stakeholders.
• Proven track record in negotiating major leases and managing large-scale retail portfolios.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic, analytical, and commercially driven, with strong business acumen.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin).
