Our partner is a leading restaurant group with acclaimed restaurants throughout Asia. Over the last decade, they have firmly established themselves as trailblazers at the forefront of the dining scene. With many new projects slated for the new year and beyond, they are now seeking a savvy Social Media Director with a penchant for storytelling.
Key Missions Include:
• Developing creative social media strategies with specific objectives across all platforms;
• Planning and delivering compelling campaigns, promotions, and collaborations with media, analysts, and influencers;
• Crafting, editing, and proofreading content or all social media platforms in an engaging and effective voice that aligns with brands and effectively captivates the key target audience;
• Ensuring consistency of communication and messaging across all channels;
• Be the go-to social media guru, proactively driving all social media platforms and continuously driving the development of new content and experimenting with "outside-the-box" ideas;
• Growing and expanding all of the venues' social media presence;
• Directing guest feedback and reviews to the respective restaurant managers;
• Developing and implementing best practises and SOPs within respective venues;
• Providing PR, branding, and marketing training and skill building opportunities for the operations teams;
• Working with Graphic Designer/Art Director to create collateral and visual content;
• Identifying effectiveness and impact of marketing initiatives and optimising accordingly;
• Presenting ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, aligning with the core leadership team on marketing programs, strategies, and budgets;
• Maintaining a presence within the group's venues to ensure brand integrity and proper execution.
The successful candidate will have:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field;
• Exceptional written & verbal communication skills;
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight as well as collaboratively across diverse teams;
• A minimum of 10 years of experience developing social media plans and campaigns;
• Proficiency in Chinese social media;
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with impeccable follow-through;
• Strategic, thoughtful, and objective decision-making with distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity;
• A positive, energetic, and proactive spirit;
• The desire to build something meaningful and contribute positively.
