Backend Engineer

Role Overview:
Chubb Hong Kong is seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join our team and play a key role in streamlining our customer service system. As a Backend Engineer, you will work closely with our technology team to enhance and optimize our backend systems, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for our customers and internal users.

Key Responsibilities:
• Working on the backend making changes on payments, workflow, finance, customer service, reporting.
• Consistent maintenance or small enhancements to the system.
• Growing Work load as they have an initiative to work on Straight through processing and streamline current process to help with customer changes, automate whole process from initiation.
• Exposure to cloud and some data analytics work within the Insurance industry.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years hands on backend development.
• Insurance background highly preferred.
• Must have strong experience using Java, SQL and Oracle DB
• Must have proficient communication in Cantonese and English
