Electronic Trading Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trading Application Analyst to join our team at We+ Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our trading applications, ensuring seamless trading operations and high system availability.
Key Accountabilities
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for trading applications, including Equities and Derivatives Trading systems
• Collaborate with traders, developers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and improve system performance
• Manage and track daily production problems and user requests, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication to clients
• Conduct system Quality Assurance testing, perform deployment or upgrade of mission-critical trading applications and systems
• Monitor system performance and operation, diagnose and address any problems
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:
• University qualification with an IT major
• Minimum of 2 years experience in trading support, preferably in a similar role
• Strong technical knowledge of Linux/Unix environment, scripting languages, and network protocols
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluent English language skills
