Business Development Manager / Senior Manager - Crypto Market Maker

Company

Our client is an European crypto market maker that is looking to expand their business development team in Asia. The role is remote.

Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a comprehensive BD strategy to onboard new projects
• Work closely with the trading, technology, and operations teams to implement and optimize market making solutions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, regulations, and developments in the crypto market making space
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences and client meetings
• Collaborate with the broader leadership team on strategic initiatives and business planning
• Set expectations, proactively communicate with clients, provide reporting, and generally manage client relationships for long-term success
• Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with exchanges and other counterparties to maximize profitability

Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in a similar BD role, preferably in the crypto or financial services industry
• Strong understanding of crypto market structure, trading, and market making concepts
• Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with projects, crypto exchanges, VCs and other market participants
• Familiarity with trading and market making technologies, infrastructure, and best practices
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
• Excellent negotiation and deal-structuring skills
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Passion for the crypto and fintech industry
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or a related field is an advantage
• Candidates based in Hong Kong and Singapore are preferred
