System Analyst - Fintech

About the Job:
Our client is an innovative fintech company based in Hong Kong. As a Java System Analyst; you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend systems that power innovative financial products and services. You will be responsible for creating scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that meet the ever-evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Design and architect the backend systems using Spring Boot, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry best practices.
• Develop and implement Spring Boot-based applications, leveraging the framework's features and capabilities to deliver high-performance, reliable, and secure systems.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures to support the company's various financial products and services.
• Integrate the backend systems with external third-party services, such as payment gateways, credit bureaus, and financial data providers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the FinTech industry, as well as the Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Contribute to the company's technology roadmap by identifying opportunities for improvement, automation, and innovation.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficient in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available backend systems.
• Hands-on experience in building RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and cloud deployment.
• Understanding of financial regulations, security, and compliance requirements in the FinTech industry.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
