We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver digital transformation initiatives within the insurance sector. The Project Manager will plan, execute, and oversee digital transformation projects, define scope and deliverables, manage cross-functional teams, and act as the primary liaison between business units, IT teams, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and deliver digital transformation projects within the insurance sector.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Manage cross-functional teams including IT, business analysts, vendors, and consultants.
• Act as the primary liaison between business units, IT teams, and external partners.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to senior management.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and align expectations.
• Drive implementation of new digital platforms, automation tools, and customer-facing solutions.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Monitor project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and digital innovation.
• Support change management and training initiatives to ensure adoption of new systems.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field; PMP or other project management certification preferred
• 5+ years of experience as a project/program manager in the insurance or financial services industry, with a focus on digital transformation initiatives
• Proven track record in digital transformation projects (e.g., core system modernization, cloud migration, automation, customer portals).
• Proven track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder technology implementation projects using agile and waterfall methodologies
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in project management tools and techniques (e.g., Jira, Agile)
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is an advantage.
• Strong language skills in both Chinese and English (written and spoken) are required.
