A Global Financial Services company are looking for a DevOps Engineer / SRE to join their team to play a key role in building and maintaining the reliable, scalable platforms for high impact projects utilizing modern tools like Kubernetes, Kafka, and Grafana to ensure system performance and availability, working at the intersection of development and operations.

Job Responsibility
• Ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of our platforms using observability tools (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Geneos).
• Manage and optimize containerized applications in Kubernetes (k8s) environments.
• Build, maintain, and support real-time data streaming platforms with Kafka.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines and infrastructure.
• Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed reliability and best practices into our services.

Job Requirements
• At least 2-3 years in an SRE, DevOps, or similar infrastructure-focused role.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Proficiency with observability tools like the ELK stack, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Practical experience managing and configuring Kafka.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) and a solid understanding of Linux.
• Experience in Terraform and IAC would be an advantage
• An excellent problem-solver with strong communication skills.
