Overview
My client is a well-known regional private bank and they are now looking for a Full Stack Developer with highly proficient JavaScript programming skill to build and enhance the bank's trading platform. Responsible for the end-to-end development of the platform, integrating the backend services with the user interface to create a seamless trading experience for the bank's clients
Role Responsibilities
• You will possess a combination of technical expertise, deep understanding of the Treasury and Private Banking domains, and the ability to work collaboratively with the Front Office and Middle Office teams.
• Developing and enhancing web-based applications and user interfaces for the bank's treasury operations, with a focus on equities derivatives, equities swaps, and equities options
• Integrating treasury systems with other internal and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation for equities-based treasury products
• Optimizing system performance and scalability to handle increasing transaction volumes and user demands for the bank's equities-based treasury products
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, traders, and operations personnel, to understand and address complex treasury requirements related to equities derivatives, equities swaps, and equities options
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting to end-users, and addressing any issues or concerns in a timely manner for the bank's equities-based treasury products
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related disciplines
• 5+ years of experience as a full-stack developer, preferably in the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on treasury systems and applications
• Thorough understanding of equities derivatives, equities swaps, and equities options, and their underlying mechanics, valuation, and risk management
• Proficient in building web-based applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and server-side technologies (e.g., Node.js, .NET, Java) to support the bank's equities-based treasury products
• Strong experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, database management, and cloud-based deployments for treasury systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex treasury-related projects
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly terms
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is essential
