System Support Specialist (Airport, VMware, over $25K)

Duties:
Provide first-line support for IT systems, applications, and hardware

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and network systems

Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance to ensure optimal functionality

Assist in the installation, configuration, and upgrading of software and hardware.

Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps

Collaborate with IT teams to implement system updates and enhancements.

Train and support end-users in the effective use of software applications and systems

Respond to user inquiries and provide timely solutions to technical problems.

Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate backup and recovery procedures

Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent

Proven 3 years’ experience in a system support or technical support role.

Experience with Microsoft products (M365, OneDrive, Office)

Knowledge of VMWare is a must

Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and software applications

Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies

Knowledge of Backup Tools (Avamar, Veaam)

Knowledge of Windows Servers, Redhat Linux 7.x 8.x, VMware

Knowledge of SolarWinds, MS MDE, Symantec Altiris
