About The Project
Horizon is partnering with a leading global consultancy in search for an experienced Senior Manager to join its growing Procurement and Supply Chain Advisory practice. This role will focus on leading large-scale procurement transformation programmes for enterprise clients across financial services, consumer, retail and industrial sectors.
You will play a key role in driving procurement strategy, digital transformation and programme delivery, helping organisations modernise procurement operations through the adoption of advanced technologies, automation and AI-enabled solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end procurement transformation programmes, from strategy development through to implementation and delivery.
• Advise clients on operating model design, sourcing optimisation, and procurement process transformation.
• Manage large-scale technology-enabled procurement programmes, including implementation and optimisation of leading procurement platforms.
• Oversee programme governance, stakeholder engagement, and delivery execution across complex, multi-workstream engagements.
• Identify opportunities to leverage digital procurement tools, automation and AI-driven analytics to improve sourcing decisions, supplier management and cost efficiency.
• Lead and develop consulting teams while managing senior client relationships across procurement, finance and operations leadership.
• Support business development activities including proposals, thought leadership and client solution design.
Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in procurement transformation, strategic sourcing or supply chain advisory.
• Background spanning consulting and in-house procurement roles strongly preferred.
• Proven experience leading large-scale programmes and transformation initiatives for enterprise organisations.
• Hands-on experience with leading procurement and spend management platforms, such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of digital procurement trends, including automation, data analytics and emerging AI-enabled procurement solutions.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders and leading multi-disciplinary delivery teams.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify value creation opportunities across procurement and supplier ecosystems.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant professional procurement certifications (e.g. CIPS) advantageous.
