Technical Architect

Reputable financial institution seeks Technical Architect for IT Fintech Java springboot role in regional transaction settlement project.
• Build enterprise application architecture and lead framework work for timely completion with quality software and documentation deliverables.
• Develop and maintain architecture principles, standards and best practices.
• Provide hands-on full-stack development for feature enhancements and maintenance.
• Facilitate legacy applications transformation to new API platform and microservice architecture.
• Uphold compliance with organization policies and standards.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5+ years in software architecture, specifically in microservices architecture preferably in financial sector.
• Deep expertise in Java, Spring boot development and ecosystem.
• Experience in cloud-based architecture (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, GraphQL, and other integration patterns.
• Proficient in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with database design and management, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically about technology.
• Strong communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in cloud architecture, microservices, or related fields are desirable.
• Experience with serverless architecture and event-driven systems.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua preferred.
• Candidate with less experience can be considered as a Junior Architect.
